Fibre Workshop

Saturday 25th June 10.00am to 4pm

To be held at Golden Valley Llamas, Old King Street Farm, Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire HR2 0HB
01981 240 208
info@oldkingstreetfarm.co.uk

Come and join us for a day of all things fibre. Learn some skills which will help you make the most of your animals and might bring in a little extra cash.

We plan to take the process from animal to product...if we can !

Weather permitting and subject to availability, we will have Ben Wheeler, specialist llama shearer with us to shear. We will then take the fibre (or a sheared fleece if Ben is not with us) to the studio, and learn the basics of carding, spinning, weaving and knitting. We hope to help all levels, especially beginners, to get going with skills to take home. For those not wanting to spin, weave or knit, Robert will organise a short trek in the absence of the shearer but we hope he will come

The day is £5 to all BLS members with all the above and lunch included. Contact us to book in advance, places limited, please state your preferred skill.

Amanda Huntley.
