Annual Members Day
Members are invited to this years event which will be held at the premises of Ashdown Forest Llama Park on Sunday 22nd June 2014
Starting at 10.30am - all BLS members and their families welcome
With kind permission of Bobby Schuck
The Park opens at 10.00 am so please plan to arrive about then for a cup of tea or coffee in the conference room. The proceedings proper will start at 10.30am.

10.35 Raising the orphaned cria – Caroline Pembro
11.15 Fun with Llamas – short DVD showing clicker training of llamas and what can be achieved – Terry Crowfoot
11.40 Alternative uses for Fibre – Anthony Turner
12.10 Demonstration of the TTouch with llamas supplied courtesy of the Llama Park
13.00 Lunch available in the park restaurant or your own picnic
14.00 Q & A session with experienced members of BLS
15.00 End of organised sessions – free to explore the Llama Park
17.00 The Llama Park closes
Two members of the Wealden Spinning Guild have very kindly agreed to come along during the morning and demonstrate the art of spinning for us. They will also have examples of the wonderful things they have made with camelid fibre.
There is no charge for the day for BLS members although entry to the park will be at the very favourable rate of £3 per head for us. Bring your own picnic lunch or make use of the fine restaurant at the Park.
We do need to know numbers so please let me know if you plan to attend – my contact details are below.
The Llama Park is situated on the A22 – 3 miles south of Forest Row and 2.5 miles north of the village of Nutley, East Sussex and has the postcode RH18 5JN.
The Llama Park has a splendid website www.llamapark.co.uk where you can find lots more information about the park and even the menu for the restaurant!
